I chose Miron violet glass to preserve the organic goodness because it is a unique biophotonic glass packaging perfect for natural products. Its unique properties protect products from the harmful effects of light, increase their shelf life, protect and revitalize their potency. Water, for example, has been kept fresh in violet Miron glasses for over three years without any artificial preservation techniques being applied. Comparable packaging materials, on the other hand, lack the ability to do so, leading to decomposition. Many studies have been performed to test its efficacy. How Does This Work? Here’s the stinky tomato test; a cherry tomato was stored in a clear glass (left) and another in a Miron glass (right) at room temperature near sunlight for seven months. The one in the clear glass decomposed and turned moldy, while the one in the Miron violet glass, as you guessed it, looked just as fresh as it did on day one! Wow!
